BAND AND ORCHESTRA SUMMER CAMP
for Grades 4 to 8

Each day, both band and string students will meet in large ensemble with camp director Frank Darmiento. Mr. Darmiento has composed for and led jazz and classical ensembles ranging from duos to symphony orchestras. He is currently the music director and conductor of La Forza Chamber Orchestra.

Students will also meet in sectionals with like-instruments for more personal instruction. These small groups will be determined by both ability and instrument type.

Instruction for band camp is provided for the following instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, French horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, and percussion.

Instruction for orchestra camp is provided for violin, viola, cello and double bass.

No prior experience is necessary. Students may come to any week since consecutive enrollment is not required.

Each student must have their own music stand and instrument. Instrument rentals are available. Please bring a lunch and water bottle each day.
