Evan Pardi

Evan PardiDouble bassist Evan Pardi is currently a Master of Music Performance student at Arizona State University studying under the legendary Catalin Rotaru. He joins the faculty of Music Masters as instructor of cello and double bass.

Evan received his Bachelor of Music Performance at the University of Oregon where he served as Principal Bass of the University of Oregon Symphony.

While studying at the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom, he performed Bottesini’s Second Double Bass Concerto with the Wills Festival Orchestra, as well giving a solo recital in the Victoria Rooms in Clifton. He has also played solo recitals for the City of Yachats, Oregon, and at the Collier House in Eugene, Oregon, featuring works such as the Bach’s Cello Suite #2 and Schubert’s Arpeggione Sonata. Evan was a member of the Eugene Symphony, Corvallis Symphony, Newport Symphony, Orchestra NEXT, and the Vancouver Symphony. He plays a custom built Seth Kimmel bass, the #34 “Oregonian.”
