30 years and counting in our community

Founded in 1987, Music Masters began in a humble 900 square foot space that consisted of 3 studios and a retail counter.  The store quickly became a local hub for music lessons, instruments, and accessories. The 3 studios were subdivided into 6 studio rooms in order to accommodate the high demand that arose for music lessons.

Although Scottsdale was, at the time, considered to be a fairly small town, our business grew rapidly over the next decade. Unable to accommodate our clientele within the booming musical community, we decided to take a leap of faith and triple our square footage! 11 years later, we were than able to add a classroom, a large retail showroom, and 3 more spacious studios!

After more than 30 years of serving our community, we now have a new owner, a dedicated staff, and a highly educated and experienced team of teaching faculty. We feel it is time to further expand our services by offering music published in-house. We are now open for online lessons and ordering, too!

We strive to offer friendly, caring service. We know that when starting to learn an instrument, it is often confusing which size or model best suits your needs. Come in and visit us for a complimentary measurement and consultation so that we can get you the right fit. Need an unusual instrument we don’t sell? Start a dialogue! We take the time to figure out the most appropriate options and/or solutions! If we do not have it, we are often able to point you in the right direction! We are here to guide our clients in making informed choices and connecting students with the teachers who understand their interests and needs.

Qualified Teaching Faculty

All of our instructors are college-accredited private contractors, many of whom are chaired members of symphony orchestras throughout AZ. A number of our instructors also perform around the state in a variety of opportunities and events. With many years of their own learning, playing, performing, and teaching experiences, our instructors aim to provide positive and productive experiences for our students!

We’re here for you! Do you need an unusual instrument? Some odd part or accessory? Hard-to-find sheet music? We do all of that! We take our time with each customer to find the most appropriate options and solutions. If we don’t know the answer, we’ll do our best to find someone who does!

As part of the community, it is important to us to establish and nourish connections with diverse organizations across the valley. We particularly enjoy exchanging expertise and resources with local organizations supporting underprivileged children’s participation in the arts. We believe that while music is often a beautiful solo endeavor, humans enjoyment of music is also rooted in - and enhanced through - community. We are very proud to be a connection point for music enthusiasts, brand new and long-time students, and professionals!
