12 years. She was a teaching assistant at the ASU School of Music, Dance and
Theatre and a graduate assistant at the Hartt School. She has been awarded her
Teacher's Qualification License in China and was also a volunteer teacher in a
supporting education program from 2013 to 2014 in China.
Her approach to piano teaching is based on the research and advanced methods of
Frederic Chopin, Tobias Matthay, Dorothy Taubman, etc. and her philosophy of piano
teaching encourages growth for both the student and the teacher. Analysis of musical
interpretation and articulation should be started from a beginner level to achieve a
better understanding of music and to build practical habits of piano learning and
practicing.
