Instructor Frank Darmiento

Frank Darmiento is a 1967 graduate of Union College in Schenectady, New York. At Union College, Frank studied music composition with Edgar Curtis and he was awarded the Richmond Prize in Music as an outstanding musician. In 2003, Frank was selected as a winner of the prestigious Dallas Wind Symphony brass fanfare competition.

As a trombonist, Frank has more than six decades of experience performing with orchestras, concert bands, jazz and show groups. His jazz CD, Sudden Impact, is a quartet album and was released on the Summit Records label. It is also available on YouTube and Spotify. He is the music director of La Forza Chamber Orchestra (www.LaForzaOrchestra.org).
