This piece was written for the piano by Mozart around 1781/82. The tune forms the basis of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and other children's songs. In this arrangement, the first part is quite challenging with the bass clarinet part also taking the lead in several variations (there are a few notes in the extended range with alternates given). There is a bit of divisi in the second and third parts but is it very limited. (C1803)
