He composed opera; chamber, vocal, and orchestral music; and some music for films. This is a contemporary piece (composed in 1969) in four movements that includes tremolos, flutter tonguing, a very short phrase with quarter tones, and at the end of the third movement: multiphonics (with fingerings given).
