Max d'Ollone (1875-1959) was a student of Jules Massenet and a prolific composer, especially of stage works. This was the Solo de Councours for 1913 (repeated in 1926 and 1941). It begins with a Lento section featuring arpeggios, then a melodic section (molto tranquillo e melacolico), which is followed by a final 2/4 Presto section.
