The Cumbia originated as a courtship dance in Colombia's Caribbean coastal region, from the musical and cultural fusion of Native Colombian, African, and Spanish influences. With its heraldic, canonic opening and driving rhythms, this ABA, 3:27 curtain raiser will delight both players and audiences alike.
