Music from The Threepenny Opera for Clarinet Quartet by Kurt Weill

Music from The Threepenny Opera for Clarinet Quartet by Kurt Weill arranged by James Rae. Universal Edition, 1993, SS, includes parts and score. For 4 B-flat clarinets or 3 B-flat clarinets and bass clarinet. The German title is Stüke aus Die Dreigroschenoper. Includes (English titles): 1. Overture and Ballad of Mack the Knife, 2. Peachum's Morning Hymn, 3. The Cannon Song, 4. Polly's Little Song, 5. Ballad of Immoral Earnings, and 6. Ballad of Good Living. This is a good arrangement which is probably within the skill level of better high school quartets. However, they would most likely need some coaching on the style of this 1928 work. (C1631)
