This Sonate is a fairly lengthy work in four movements: I. Allegro moderato (san rigueur), II. Intermède (Allegretto), III. Andante, and IV. Allegro. An interesting piece, very tonal (especially for something this recent), with interesting melodies, and contrasting sections. The third movement features some showy elements including a short cadenza while the last movement concludes with some quick rhythmic figures in 5/8 and 4/4. College level. (C0765)
