Sonate Op. 38 for Clarinet and Piano by Felix Draeseke. Amadeus Verlag, 1985, 32 + 11 pages. Felix Draeseke (1835-1913) was a composer of the " German School" admiring Franz Liszt and Richard Wagner. He wrote compositions in most forms including eight operas and stage works, four symphonies, and much vocal and chamber music.This work was composed in the mid-1880s. It has four movements: I. Allegro moderato, II. Adagio ma non troppo, III, Scherzo (Allegro molto vivace-Presto)/ Trio (Un poco piu lento), and IV. Finale (allegro con brio). The duration is about 25 minutes. (C2704)
