Spohr Concerto No. 1 in C minor Op. 26 for Clarinet and Piano Reduction by Ludwig Spohr edited by Ullrich Scheideler with Piano Reduction by Christoph Sobanski

Spohr Concerto No. 1 in C minor Op. 26 for Clarinet and Piano Reduction by Ludwig Spohr edited by Ullrich Scheideler with Piano Reduction by Christoph Sobanski. Henle, 2015, SS, 27 + 11 pages. This edition appears to be based on the Breitkopf version which was used as the source for the International edition listed above (including the ossia). However, it has been extensively edited and includes a preface and notes of the editing. From the publisher: "Besides taking a close look at the Leipzig first edition of 1812, this edition reassesses Spohr's autograph score for the first time: after it was rediscovered, it was possible to do away with many imprecisions and irregularities found in earlier editions. Christoph Sobanski's new piano reduction wonderfully fits the hands. (C2289)
