Suite Op. 37a for Bass Clarinet or Clarinet Solo by Adolf Busch. Amadeus Verlag, 1980, SS, 9 pages. Adolf Busch (1891-1952) was a German-born violinist and composer. Although he was not Jewish, he left Germany in 1927 and later settled in the United States. This four movement solo work was written in 1926. Each of the movements is quite different in character. They are: I. Andante tranquillo, II. Adagio, III. Scherzo, and IV. Vivace. It is college level on the clarinet and advanced college level on the bass clarinet. (C2170)
