For 3 B-flat clarinets and bass clarinet. Includes parts for E-flat clarinet (1st) and alto clarinet (third part). There are no notes for the bass clarinet in the extended range. Dvorak composed this string quartet in 1893 while in the US. It is perhaps his most popular string quartet, and is heavily influenced by the traditional music of North America. The string parts have been edited to suit the capabilities of the clarinet quartet. (C2748)
