Trio in D minor Op. 1 No. 1 for three flutes by Bernardo Porta edited by Hugo Ruf. Heinrchshofen, 2003, SS. Porta (1758-1829) was born in Rome and lived in Paris after 1785. He was a conductor and composer who wrote operas and cantatas in his early career but after 1800 composed primarily instrumental works. This three movement work (Allegro, Andante con espressione, and Allegro) was published around 1790. It is at the upper intermediate level with equal parts on the first movement and somewhat easier second and third parts on the others. Includes a score and individual parts.
