Trio Sonata for Viola, Bass Clarinet and Piano by Alan Richardson edited by John White. Comus Edition, 2000, SS, (includes parts and piano score). Alan Richardson (1904-1978) was a Scottish born composer and pianist who studied at Royal College of Music and was a professor of piano there from 1960 until his death. This piece was completed in June 1973 and was premiered by the Stadler Trio in 1974. Described by the publisher as "A short three movement work with some interesting sonorities." The three movements are: 1. Allegro energico, 2. Andante con moto, 3. Vivace. College level with a duration of 11 minutes. (C1600)
