This book is a sequel to More Clarinet Virtuosi of the Past and follows the same format of entries of a single paragraph to several pages. There are about a thousand, of which about 600 are new, and the rest contain additional or corrected information. Many clarinetists of recent memory are included such as Daniel Bonade, Yona Ettlinger, Rudolf Jettel, Reginald Kell, Gustave Langenus, Robert Marcellus, Robert McGinnis, and Aage Oxenvad. Also included are a list of orchestras and their clarinetists (not especially up to date) and compositions with their first performance.
