Ballad for Bass Clarinet and Piano by Heinz Joachim Zander

Ballad for Bass Clarinet and Piano by Heinz Joachim Zander. Simrock, 1993, SS, 19 + 7 pages. Heinz Zander (1920?24-2004) was a Germany composer. This is an advanced piece in three sections: Allegro, Andante (with a cadenza at the end), and Allegro. There are notes in the extended low range although it could probably be performed without an extended range instrument. However, what is most notable is the frequent use of the altissimo to the E an octave above the regular altissimo E. (C1898)
