Burlesque for Clarinet Choir by Adam Gorb

Burlesque for Clarinet Choir by Adam Gorb. Maecenas Music, 2004, SS, (includes parts and score). This piece is intended for a large clarinet choir and was initially performed at the Clarinet Fest of 2004. The parts are E-flat clarinet, 6 B-flat soprano clarinets, 2 alto clarinets (with alternate parts for B-flat clarinet or basset horn), 2 bass clarinets, and B-flat contrabass clarinet. There are two copies of each of the B-flat clarinet parts including the alternate alto clarinet parts. The bass and contra parts are cued so that two players can cover the three parts. It includes a gliss played by the E-flat and first two clarinet players on their mouthpieces and key clicks for most of the ensemble. College level with quite a bit of mixed meter and a duration of about 13 minutes (C2475)
