This piece was inspired by a visit to Rossini's birthplace to hear the first opera he composed in Paris. It requires both B flat and A clarinets and is in three movements: Une Réjouissance (Molto allegro ed esuberante), Une caresse à ma Femme (Andante amoroso, senza trascinare), and Un petit Train du Plaisir (Molto allegro e spiritoso).
