Concerto abbreviato for Clarinet (solo) by Petar Bergamo. Universal Edition, 1981, SS, 4 pages. Petar Bergamo (1930-) was born in Yugoslavia, where he studied and was also a music professor. He worked as a music editor for Universal Edition in Vienna, the publisher of this piece. This is one of his better known works. It was written for Milenko Stefanović, who gave its first performance in 1966. It is without meter, but has many sections in a variety of tempos. It also has a section with two staves, apparently to make the wide interval jumps (and notes with grace notes) stand out. (C1838)
