Concerto for Clarinet and Chamber Orchestra or Piano (Piano edition) by Eugene Bozza

Concerto for Clarinet and Chamber Orchestra or Piano (Piano edition) by Eugene Bozza. Alphonse Leduc, 1952, SS, 22 + 11 pages. Written for Ulysse Delécluse. In three movements: Allegro moderato (2/4), Andantino (6/4) and Vif (6/8). All movements have tempo changes and there are two cadenzas in the last movement.. Prof. Heim wrote: "One of the best concertos from the twentieth century. The clarinet part demands a virtuoso technique involving many fast notes, some with scales in octaves. The middle movement is quiet with a beautiful melodic line and sumptuous chords. This is good recital literature for graduate and professional use." (C1449)
