Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra by Robert Livingston Aldridge

Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra by Robert Livingston Aldridge. C.F. Peters, 2005, SS, 19 pages (clarinet part) plus rehearsal CD. This piece was written of clarinetist David Singer who asked the composer to write a piece that would combine elements of classical music with folk. It is in three movements in the traditional fast, slow, fast format. This is a virtuoso piece for the clarinetist with a duration of about 29 minutes. Instead of a piano reduction it includes a CD with a midi realization of the accompaniment (which sounds very good). (C1649)
