This piece was written of clarinetist David Singer who asked the composer to write a piece that would combine elements of classical music with folk. It is in three movements in the traditional fast, slow, fast format. This is a virtuoso piece for the clarinetist with a duration of about 29 minutes. Instead of a piano reduction it includes a CD with a midi realization of the accompaniment (which sounds very good). (C1649)
