The composer decided to learn how to play the cello and the clarinet two of his favorite instruments. He was inspired to write these duets as a learning and teaching tool. The range in difficulty from early to advanced intermediate. Some have parts of equal difficulty while in others one part can be played by the student and a more difficult one by the teacher.
