Fantasie for Clarinet Solo by Harald Genzmer. Henry Litolff's Verlag/C.F. Peters. 1973, SS, 7 pages. Harald Genzmer (1909-2007) was a German composer and music educator who studied with Hindemith. During the early part of the second world war he served as a military band clarinetist. This piece is in four movements: I. Adagio, II. Vivace molto, III. Lento e rubato (quasi parlando), and IV. Presto, Sempre con fantasia. Prof. Heim rates this piece as a grade 6 and says it requires facile technique. (C1171)
