He is Distinguished Professor of Music and Chairman of the Jazz Department at the Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington, Indiana, as well as conductor and artistic director of the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra. This is the clarinet solo part for this work (the score is also for sale but the orchestral parts are a rental). It is in three movements: I. Jitterbug, II. Slow Drag, and III. Calypso.
