Jiddische Sjlimmert for Clarinet Quartet by Patrick Hiketick

Jiddische Sjlimmert for Clarinet Quartet by Patrick Hiketick. Metropolis Music, 1997, SS, (includes score). For three B-flat clarinets and bass clarinet (parts in both treble and bass clef). Jiddische means Yiddish. The word Sjlimmert is a play on words and can be described as a combination of Flemish words meaning 'smart' and 'sentimental'. A klezmer inspired piece with increasing tempos throughout. The first part has most of the melody and difficulty. (C1406)
