Joviality for Clarinet Quartet by Jenny Rees. Queen's Temple Publications, 2004, SS, (includes score). For four B-flat clarinets (we thought the fourth part was ok on bass clarinet). A very pleasant quartet in one extended movement at Vivace. There is some mixed meter but it is of the 4/4, 6/4, 3/4 variety. All parts are interesting. Suggested for advanced high school, early college level, or adult amateur quartets. (C1272)
