Kater Bassetto for Basset Horn Trio by Rainer Lischka. Bassetti Paletti Publications, 2015, SS, includes parts and score. Rainer Lischka (1942-) is a German composer and music educator. This piece, which was written in 2011, is among the few contemporary works for basset horn. The composer wrote: "[It is] a piece in one movement which, in a humorous way, stylizes the lithesome movements of a strolling cat and in the middle section also suggest his wooing miaows [meows]."
