Kol Nidrei Op. 47 for Clarinet and Piano by Max Bruch arranged by Charles W. Salinger. Roncorp, 2004, SS, 8 + 3 pages. The Kol Nidrei begins the evening service at the start of Yom Kippur. In the 16th century, a Cantor in Germany composed a melody for this prayer which Bruch used as the basis for his Adagio on Hebrew Melodies for Violoncello and Orchestra. Clarinetist Charles Salinger has arranged this piece for clarinet and piano. In two sections: Adagio ma non troppo and Un poco più animato.
