Moulin A Cafe "by" Sidney Bechet arranged by Yves Bouchet. International Music Diffusion, 1992. For clarinet sextet (but should work for a larger ensemble). While this music lists Bechet as the composer (and it was part of his repertoire), this rag was actually composed in 1909 by George Linus Cobb (1886-1942). The basic arrangement is for four B-flat clarinets, alto clarinet and bass clarinet, but there are alternate parts for E-flat clarinet, B-flat clarinet replacing the alto clarinet, and contra alto clarinet instead of bass clarinet. There are two copies of most of the parts (although the alternates are on the back). High school level and up with only the melody in the first part and a few altissimo notes in the second part presenting any challenge. (C0471)
