Mozart Four Church Sonatas for Clarinet and Piano arranged by Yona Ettlinger. Boosey & Hawkes, 1978, SS, 20 + 9 pages. Mozart wrote 17 church sonatas. The early sonatas were for two violins and organ continuo while the later ones were for full orchestra. All are one movement. I. Allegro (No. 2, K. 68, 1767), II. Andante (No. 1, K. 67, 1767), III. Allegro (No. 10, K. 244, 1766), and IV. Allegro (No. 17, K. 336, 1780). The last is the most extensive with a four page clarinet part. These sonatas are at the intermediate/advanced intermediate level. (C1027)
