Kit Turnbull is a British composer who studied with Martin Ellerby. This piece has a circus theme as indicated on the cover and is in five movements: I. The Chase, II. The Clown (After the show), III. Carousel, IV. Harmonium, and V. Curtain Music. While the notes aren't particularly difficult, the mixed meter, especially in the last movement (4/4, 3/8, 5/8, 6/8, 4/8), will require some study from most quartets. College level. (C1271)
