Prelude, Blues and Finale for Two Clarinets in A (or Clarinet in A and Viola) and Piano by Elie Siegmeister

Prelude, Blues and Finale for Two Clarinets in A (or Clarinet in A and Viola) and Piano by Elie Siegmeister. Carl Fischer, SS. Elie Siegmeister (1909-1991) was an American composer, educator and author. This is a challenging and exciting piece that was composed for Stanley and Naomi Drucker and Blanche Abram and premiered by them in 1984. This edition was copied from a manuscript which appears to have had a number of corrections (cut and paste) especially in the first few pages. It is supplied with a piano score, and a part with the first and second clarinet part and another with the first clarinet and viola part, so when played by two clarinetists they each have their own part. Duration about 16 minutes. (C1153)
