Elie Siegmeister (1909-1991) was an American composer, educator and author. This is a challenging and exciting piece that was composed for Stanley and Naomi Drucker and Blanche Abram and premiered by them in 1984. This edition was copied from a manuscript which appears to have had a number of corrections (cut and paste) especially in the first few pages. It is supplied with a piano score, and a part with the first and second clarinet part and another with the first clarinet and viola part, so when played by two clarinetists they each have their own part.
