Serenade in E Major Op. 22 by Antonin Dvorak arranged for clarinet choir by Barton Cummings, BRS Music Inc., 2006, SB/SS, includes parts and score. Arranged for and dedicated to Dr. Margaret Thornhill and the Los Angeles Clarinet Ensemble. This piece was written for string orchestra in 1875 and remains one of Dvorak's most popular works. This arrangement is for E-flat clarinet, three B-flat clarinets (with a limited amount of divisi in the second and third parts), alto clarinet, bass clarinet, and contrabass clarinet (with an alternate part for contralto clarinet). In five movements I. Moderato, II. Menuetto (Tempo di Valse), III. Scherzo (Vivace), IV. Larghetto, and V. Finale (Allegro vivace). Early college level with a duration of 27-30 minutes. (C0994)
