Capitalizing on the current wave of interest in the clarinet world for all things Klezmer, Michael Kibbe has written a two-movement collection of dances in this style. While utilizing no direct quotations from the established Klezmer literature, Kibbe uses many of the traditional dance types (Doina, Hora, Polka, Bulgar) as formal and stylistic elements of structure.
