This is an easy-to-understand book filled with photos, large print fingering examples, and lots of basic melodies suitable for learners of all ages. “Sequencing” is logical and pacing is moderate. The book starts with "physical considerations for clarinetists" and ends with how to play up to altissimo F. The goal of the book is to learn to make a good sound on the clarinet and to play basic rhythms and notes need to perform recognizable songs. I still have 2 copies of this edition. When I contacted the author she was not sure if it would stay in print. (C1771)
