Henry Eccles (1670-1742) was an English musician and composer. This work was originally for the violin but has been transcribed for many instruments. It begins with an introductory movement (to be played slowly), then Corrente-Allego con spirito, Adagio, and concludes with Vivace. The edition has a range from low E to C above the staff.
