Jindřich Feld (1925-2007) was a Czech composer who taught composition in Australia and the United States as well as other countries. He wrote more than 200 works. This Sonata was written in 1989-90 and is dedicated to Eugene Rousseau. It is in three movements: I. Allegro ritmico, II. Bells of Liberty (Adagio), and III. Scherzo (Allegro vivo), and IV.
