This is a new version of Clarinet Connection for four B-flat clarinets and bass clarinet which was written for Sabine Meyer and Eddie Daniels and is featured on the CD Blues for Sabine. In this version the two solo parts have been combined and a string quartet provides the accompaniment. It is in three movements: I. Connection, II. Contacts, and III. Encounter. The clarinet part has improvised solos from chord symbols. An advanced work with a duration of about 13 minutes. (C1519)
