This is explained along with the French notation system and the method used by Stravinsky. This book has 30 studies from the 18th and 19th centuries, arranged for low C bass clarinet (and also suggested for basset horn or contrabass clarinet). These exercises include both bass and treble clef (frequently alternating in some). Alternative notation is provided for low E-flat instruments. (C1091)
