This piece was written in 1964 and was first performed that year by Keith Puddy to whom it is dedicated. The three pieces are: 1. Nocturne (an Aria, Lento/Adagio), 2. Improvisation (a Bossa Nova, Con moto), and 3. Fantasy. The Fantasy is sectional with a variety of tempos (Lento/con moto/allegro flessibile/allegro moderato) and time signatures.
