Twelve Kegelduette KV 487/496a for 2 Basset Horns or 2 Natural Horns by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart edited by Thomas Grass and Dietrich Demus and with dynamics and ornamentation by Wolfgang Meyer. Wintergarten Publications, 2006, SB, 31 pages. These duets (three of which have survived in autograph) were written when Mozart was very young (1767/68) and are his first works for basset horn. However, there are very few notes in the extended range and they can be played with few problems on clarinet or bass clarinet. Each duet is printed twice, once as published in 1802/03 and a second time with dynamics and ornamentation suggested by Wolfgang Meyer. All are in score format. (C0741)
