This is for three B-flat clarinets and bass clarinet but there are alternate parts for E-flat clarinet and alto clarinet replacing the third B-flat clarinet. There is an additional contra alto clarinet (or baritone saxophone) that could be used to supplement or replace the bass clarinet and is mostly an octave lower. This original piece is in two parts, a waltz followed by a fairly rapid 4/4 section with a melody built on dotted eighth-sixteenth figures. (C0790)
